**Major Shakeups in College Football Rankings After Week 10**

Week 10 of the college football season brought significant changes in the US LBM Coaches Poll, with multiple top-10 teams facing unexpected defeats. Despite a turbulent week, Oregon maintained its stronghold on the No. 1 spot by easily overcoming Michigan's challenges, securing all but one of the 54 first-place votes. The lone remaining top nod went to the No. 2 ranked Georgia.

Ohio State has ascended to the No. 3 position after dealing Penn State their first loss of the season, resulting in the Nittany Lions dropping four spots to No. 7. This reshuffling benefitted Miami (Fla.), Texas, and Tennessee, each of which moved up one position. Notre Dame also saw an improvement, climbing to No. 8.

Unbeaten teams, Brigham Young and Indiana, now occupy the No. 9 and No. 10 ranks respectively—each achieving their highest rankings since the 2020 season.

The weekend's big losers included Clemson and Iowa State, who both plummeted to Nos. 17 and 18 following their unexpected defeats. Texas A&M also experienced a significant drop, falling five places to No. 16 after losing to South Carolina. On the positive side, Boise State surged five spots ahead, now sitting at No. 14.

Colorado made its first appearance in the coaches poll at No. 24 this season, while Vanderbilt returned to the No. 25 position. The week's changes also saw Illinois and Memphis falling out of the top 25 rankings.
