In a statement addressing the recent investigation conducted by Red Bull GmbH, Christian Horner, team principal of Red Bull Racing, emphasized the strengthened unity within the team. As Horner arrived at the Bahrain circuit alongside Red Bull's motorsport advisor Helmut Marko, he expressed his relief that the process was finally over.

The investigation, which stemmed from allegations of inappropriate behavior against Horner, was dismissed by Red Bull just before the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix. Horner had consistently denied any wrongdoing.

While Red Bull's parent company released a brief statement stating that the grievance had been dismissed, they refrained from disclosing further details or the investigation report, citing confidentiality and protecting the privacy of the parties involved.

Speaking to Sky Sports on Thursday morning, Horner declined to comment on the investigation but voiced his focus on the upcoming race and the team's pursuit of defending their titles. When asked if this marked the end of the matter, Horner remained tight-lipped, stating only that the process had been concluded.

The lack of transparency surrounding the investigation has drawn concerns from former F1 driver turned pundit, Martin Brundle. Brundle argued that the absence of any comment allows speculation to spread, potentially damaging Horner, Red Bull, and the entire Formula 1 community.

The investigation became a global story after De Telegraaf initially reported it before the launch of Red Bull's RB20 car. Horner was questioned about whether he regretted the public attention, to which he responded that his focus remained on the team's performance in Bahrain.

Despite the controversy surrounding the investigation, Horner highlighted the unity within his team, stating that it had never been stronger. As he arrived in the Bahrain paddock, Horner embraced his triple World Champion driver, Max Verstappen, further showcasing their strong bond.

Verstappen himself acknowledged the importance of Horner's role, stating that his absence would have minimal short-term impact, but highlighting the significance of his long-term people management expertise. Verstappen emphasized the team's trust in the ongoing process and their eagerness to perform at their best.

Moving forward, Red Bull Racing aims to maintain their momentum at the Bahrain Grand Prix and throughout the season ahead. As the investigation concludes, the team's focus remains steadfast on their pursuit of success on the track.
