### Chiefs Secure Win Despite Struggles, Potential Trade on Horizon

In an impressive fashion, the Kansas City Chiefs secured a 28-12 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at Levi's Stadium, maintaining their undefeated streak. This game was a highly anticipated rematch of Super Bowl 58, but it also highlighted ongoing concerns for the Chiefs' depleted wide receiver roster.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes ended the game with 16 completions from 27 attempts, amassing 154 passing yards but also throwing two interceptions. Tight end Noah Gray emerged as the leading receiver with four catches totaling 66 yards. The next notable performance came from rookie Xavier Worthy, who managed only three catches for 19 yards. Worthy's slip on a corner route led to one of Mahomes' interceptions, underlining the critical need for reinforcement in the Chiefs' receiving options.

Head coach Andy Reid has indicated a preference for acquiring a player familiar with Mahomes' style, but the Chiefs are exploring all potential options. Among the candidates is Tennessee Titans' receiver Tyler Boyd. Boyd, previously with the Bengals, could offer the Chiefs a reliable target, something their current receivers have struggled to provide consistently.

The Tennessee Titans, currently sitting at a disappointing 1-5, might look to offload some veteran assets given their ongoing difficulties, particularly at the quarterback position with Will Levis underperforming. Boyd, who joined the Titans this past offseason, has demonstrated his reliability with 18 catches on 24 targets for 170 yards this season. His eight-season NFL career has been marked by consistent performance, catching 68% of his passes and amassing 6,000 yards with 31 touchdowns.

While Boyd may lack the speed of Worthy or the injured Rashee Rice, his dependability would be a significant asset for the Chiefs. The potential trade would be economically feasible, likely requiring only a low-cost exchange given the Chiefs' current draft assets, including two seventh-round picks. This strategic move could greatly enhance the Chiefs' offensive stability as they aim to preserve their unbeaten run.
