**Chiefs' Rashee Rice Sidelined with Knee Injury Following Collision with Teammate**

In an unfortunate turn of events during today's game, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was taken off the field due to a knee injury. The incident occurred in the first quarter when quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw an interception to Chargers defensive back Kristian Fulton. As Rice attempted to chase down Fulton and strip the ball, Mahomes aimed for a low tackle from the opposite direction. Instead of tackling the intended target, Mahomes inadvertently collided with Rice, injuring his right knee.

Rice, who is a crucial part of the Chiefs' offense, was visibly distressed as he was carted off to the locker room. Covering his head in apparent frustration, he was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the game. Although an immediate diagnosis of the injury has not been provided, the early exit of the team’s top receiver poses a significant challenge for Kansas City's struggling passing game.

The Chiefs, already trailing behind at 0-10 against the Chargers, now face a critical situation without their leading receiver. Given Mahomes and the offense’s difficulties this season, losing Rice for any period could prove to be a major setback. The team hopes for a speedy recovery, but the outlook remains uncertain as they await further medical evaluations.
