CBS Unveils Jam-Packed Lineup for 2024-2025 Broadcast Season
At a press briefing in Los Angeles on Thursday, CBS announced an impressive lineup for the upcoming 2024-2025 broadcast season, showcasing a mix of fan favorites and exciting new additions.

Headlining the slate is the eagerly anticipated spinoff series, "Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage," which will fill the Thursday 8 p.m. slot previously occupied by "Young Sheldon." This will be followed by the supernatural comedy "Ghosts" at 8:30 p.m., promising an entertaining back-to-back viewing experience for fans.

Another significant change is the relocation of the hit series "Tracker," which earned the title of the most-watched series overall and the top new series of the 2023-2024 season. Previously airing on Sundays at 9 p.m., "Tracker" will now enjoy an earlier time slot at 8 p.m., allowing viewers to embark on thrilling adventures even earlier in the evening.

Classic CBS traditions will continue to dominate certain evenings, such as Tuesdays being dubbed "FBI" night, with the flagship series "FBI" airing at 8 p.m., followed by "FBI: International" at 9 p.m., and "FBI: Most Wanted" at 10 p.m. Similarly, "NCIS" will hold onto its 9 p.m. timeslot on Mondays, with the latest addition to the franchise, "NCIS: Origins," taking over the 9:30 p.m. slot previously occupied by the now-canceled "NCIS: Hawai'i."

Wednesdays will showcase a variety of unscripted programming throughout the season, with a special January lineup to bridge the gap between fall and spring seasons. In the fall, viewers will be treated to 90-minute episodes of the long-running favorite, "Survivor," starting at 8 p.m. This will be followed by the new competition series, "The Summit," taking the 9 p.m. slot in place of the usual "The Amazing Race." Additionally, Wednesday nights in January will feature "The Price Is Right at Night" at 8 p.m., "Raid the Cage" at 9 p.m., and the highly anticipated revival of "Hollywood Squares," hosted by the charismatic Drew Barrymore, at 10 p.m.

Fans of Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. can rejoice as their comedy series, "Poppa's House," finds a home on Mondays at 8 p.m. Thrilling dramas also join the lineup, including the "Matlock" reboot on Thursdays at 9 p.m. and the gripping medical drama, "Watson," starring Morris Chestnut, on Sundays at 10 p.m.

Lastly, Fridays will have distinct schedules for the fall and spring seasons, with the announcement that the final season of "Blue Bloods" will be aired in two parts. In the fall, audiences can catch the eighth season of "S.W.A.T." at 8 p.m., followed by the gripping drama "Fire Country" at 9 p.m., and the much-anticipated return of "Blue Bloods" at 9 p.m. The spring schedule will open with "NCIS: Sydney" at 8 p.m., with "Fire Country" maintaining its 9 p.m. slot and "S.W.A.T." shifting to 10 p.m.

With a diverse and exciting lineup, CBS is poised to captivate viewers throughout the 2024-2025 broadcast season. Mark your calendars and get ready for a thrilling year of television!
