Buffalo Bills Linebacker Von Miller Suspended for Four Games After NFL Violation

The NFL announced the suspension as a result of Miller violating the league's Personal Conduct Policy.
Miller will be unable to take the field until October 28, following the Bills' Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks. During his suspension, Miller will also miss crucial games against the Houston Texans, New York Jets, and Tennessee Titans. The NFL did not disclose specific details of the violation leading to the suspension.
In 2023, Miller faced accusations of felony assault. At the time, he denied the allegations, and the alleged victim later recanted the claims. If the alleged victim did not partake in the NFL's investigation, the league would have had to rely on police reports and other evidence compiled before the recantation. Despite the murky circumstances, the league's decision is final, and Miller will sit out the next four games.
Miller's absence will be significant for the Bills as they navigate these challenging matchups without their influential linebacker. The team's defense will need to step up in his absence to maintain their strong start to the season.
