Myles Harden, a sixth-round pick out of FCS Division I South Dakota, emerged victorious in the cornerback battle, edging out veterans Justin Hardee Sr. and Tony Brown II. Harden's strong performances during camp earned him a place on the Browns' initial roster.

The Browns made other notable moves, including terminating the contract of running back D'Onta Foreman, which left them with only two running backs on the active roster. Injuries forced Nick Chubb and Nyheim Hines onto their respective injury lists, while offensive lineman Michael Dunn was placed on the Non-Football Injury list.

The initial 53-man roster is subject to change, as the Browns will learn on Wednesday if they have been awarded any waiver claims. The team anticipates further adjustments before their season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on September 8.

While these decisions were undoubtedly tough, Coach Stefanski expressed pride in the competitive nature of the roster and congratulated the young players who made the team.
