Less than a week after Britney Spears settled her court case with her father, the pop superstar has now reached a divorce settlement with her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Sam Asghari. According to documents filed in a Los Angeles court on Thursday, the couple submitted an agreement for the division of their assets, nine months after their separation.

While the details of the settlement were not disclosed in the filings, it was revealed that neither Spears nor Asghari will receive future spousal support. This comes as a departure from Asghari's initial petition, in which he had stated his intention to seek financial support. Any future disagreements between the couple will be settled through private arbitration.

The judge is expected to soon approve the stipulated solution, officially declaring both Britney Spears and Sam Asghari as single individuals. Emails requesting further information or comments from the lawyers representing Spears and Asghari have not yet been returned.

The couple, who were married for approximately 13 months and started dating seven years ago, did not have any children together, hence no custody agreement was necessary. In her memoir published last year, Spears revealed that the couple had experienced a miscarriage shortly before their wedding in June 2022.

Their marriage ceremony, held at Spears' home and attended by notable celebrities including Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, and Madonna, was seen as a significant milestone in Spears' life. It came just six months after she was freed from the court conservatorship that had controlled her life and finances for over 13 years.

In addition to settling her divorce with Asghari, Spears recently reached a settlement with her father, Jamie Spears, regarding the ongoing legal issues surrounding her conservatorship. The settlement was reached in order to avoid a potentially lengthy and public trial that was scheduled to take place later this month.

With her personal matters being resolved, Britney Spears can now focus on her future as she continues to regain control over her life and career.
