In a surprising turn of events, Billy Ray Cyrus, the 62-year-old country singer, has filed an emergency motion seeking a temporary restraining order against his estranged wife, Firerose. According to documents obtained by People magazine, Cyrus alleged that Firerose made unauthorized charges on his business account, including payments to her attorneys.

The motion, filed in a Tennessee court on June 13, aims to prevent Firerose from using Cyrus' personal and business credit cards and accounts without his authorization. The affidavit filed by Cyrus expressed concern that Firerose may possess additional information to potentially make fraudulent charges.

The alleged unauthorized charges, totaling $96,986, reportedly began on May 23, the same day Cyrus filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct. Among the charges, $70,665 was attributed to payments made towards Firerose's attorneys.

Firerose, a 37-year-old Australian singer born as Johanna Rose Hodges, responded to the emergency motion, claiming that there was no emergency situation. Her attorneys argued that she had been using Cyrus' American Express card since June 2022, with his full permission. They added that Firerose's expenses on the card were routinely reviewed during their marriage.

Cyrus reportedly stated in his motion that he and Firerose did not have any joint accounts, credit cards, or real estate together. He also disclosed that Firerose owns real estate in Los Angeles worth more than seven figures and has over $500,000 in liquid and investment assets at her disposal.

Since filing for divorce from his third wife, Cyrus has reached an agreement in court, stipulating that Firerose would move out of his home immediately. Additionally, he would provide her with financial support for 90 days or until the dissolution of their marriage, whichever comes first.

As of now, representatives for Cyrus and Firerose have declined to provide further details or comment on the restraining order. The court will examine the emergency motion and the response from Firerose's legal team in due course to determine the validity of the allegations.

This unexpected twist adds another layer of complexity to the ongoing divorce proceedings between Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose. The court is tasked with untangling their financial entanglements and ultimately deciding on their divorce settlement.
