In an ongoing divorce battle, Billy Ray Cyrus has made new allegations against his estranged wife, Firerose, claiming that she is attempting to "isolate" him from his family by blocking communication with at least one of his three daughters. The singer-songwriter and actor, who initially filed for annulment on May 23, recently added these claims to his court filing.
According to a complaint obtained by People Magazine, which was filed on Monday, June 17, Cyrus discovered that Firerose had unknowingly blocked at least one of his daughters from contacting him on his phones or electronic devices. The documents do not mention the specific daughter affected by this alleged action.
The complaint also alleges that since the initial filing in May, Firerose has been conducting a campaign to isolate Cyrus from his family. This revelation is part of an amendment to Cyrus's original court filing, which took place nearly a month ago.
Billy Ray Cyrus shares two daughters, Miley, 31, and Noah, 24, with his former wife Tish. Additionally, he adopted Tish's daughter from a previous relationship, Brandi, who is now 37 years old.
In addition to the communication allegations, Cyrus has accused Firerose of lying about her marital history and her last name. He claims that she stated she was married twice before and had provided false information regarding her last name.
On the other hand, Firerose has responded with her own counter-filing, where she alleges that she was subjected to extreme verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse from Cyrus. She also claims that Cyrus filed for divorce just a day before she was scheduled to undergo a planned surgery for breast cancer.
The divorce proceedings between Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose are ongoing, and it remains to be seen how these new claims and counter-allegations will unfold in court.
