In a display of camaraderie and team spirit, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow made it clear that he supported his teammates during a recent practice session against the Indianapolis Colts. While Burrow admitted that he would have preferred to play, he was content with watching his fellow players showcase their skills and compete for a spot on the roster.

During the practice session, Colts' quarterback Anthony Richardson followed Burrow's advice and threw the ball on the ensuing play. However, the decision did not turn out in Richardson's favor, as Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson intercepted the pass after a deflection. This interception led to the Bengals' defense taunting the second-year signal-caller.

Both the Colts' and Bengals' offensive and defensive starters played five drives each, giving the coaches a chance to evaluate their performance. The Colts' starters exited the field early in the second quarter, while the Bengals' starters did not see any action after a joint practice session on Tuesday that lasted over two hours.

As the preseason finale approaches, there are several Bengals players who find themselves on the roster bubble. Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample, Erick All, and Tanner Hudson are considered locks for the roster. However, tight end McLachlan is still trying to prove his worth and secure his spot. A strong performance on offense and a few impactful plays on special teams in the upcoming game could greatly benefit his chances of making the cut.

The Bengals players' support for one another reflects the strong bond within the team. Even though Burrow wished he could have been on the field, he showed his backing for his teammates and acknowledged the importance of the practice session in helping the coaching staff make tough roster decisions.

With the preseason finale on the horizon, all eyes will be on the Bengals as they finalize their roster and prepare for the upcoming regular season. The team's unity and support for one another are crucial elements that will contribute to their success on the field.
