As we enter the third week of the 2024 NFL season, nine teams find themselves still searching for their first victory. With only about 11.5% of teams historically making the playoffs after an 0-2 start, the pressure is on for these winless clubs to turn their fortunes around. Let's take a closer look at each team and assess their chances of a comeback.

At the bottom of the list is the struggling team led by Bryce Young and coached by Dave Canales. With a dismal scoreline of 73-13 in their first two games, their offense has been nothing short of hapless. Though Young has been replaced by veteran Andy Dalton, questions remain as to whether he can salvage their season.

Next up is a team bolstered by the preseason hype around quarterback Bo Nix, led by coach Sean Payton. However, Nix's rookie struggles have begun to overshadow their chances in the competitive AFC West. The team's hopes are already fading, even at this early stage.

In East Rutherford, the team led by Daniel Jones and coached by Brian Daboll has shown glimpses of promise. Jones connected well with receiver Malik Nabers, and their defense put up a strong fight against their rivals. However, the team continues to find ways to lose, leaving fans and players on edge.

Anthony Richardson's Jacksonville Jaguars, with his undeniable athleticism, have provided highlights on the field. But Richardson's inconsistent accuracy and the team's porous run defense have put a damper on their potential success. With a banged-up DeForest Buckner, their chances of a turnaround look slim.

The team led by quarterback Will Levis has experienced its fair share of ups and downs. Levis, while occasionally displaying moments of brilliance, has also made questionable decisions. Despite having a talented roster, the team's winless start is a cause for concern. However, they can take solace in the fact that two other AFC South teams are also off to winless starts.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, who made a surprise playoff appearance, are finding it hard to replicate their success. Trevor Lawrence and coach Doug Pederson were seen as a dynamic duo, but time is slowly eroding their early promise. Their weak division may buy them some time to find their rhythm.

The Los Angeles Rams, fresh off a Super Bowl victory in 2021, face uncertainty. Injuries to Puka Nacua and an inconsistent offensive line have raised doubts about their future. However, as long as Matthew Stafford remains healthy and coach Sean McVay can maximize the potential of their running backs, a turnaround is within reach.

John Harbaugh's Baltimore Ravens have a history of struggling to close out games, despite MVP-caliber performances from Lamar Jackson. While mild concerns linger, this team remains built for contention in the playoffs. Counting them out of the AFC North race would be premature.

Lastly, the Cincinnati Bengals, famous for their slow starts, are again facing an uphill battle. The drama surrounding Ja'Marr Chase and uncertainty around Tee Higgins' availability are concerning. However, as long as Joe Burrow is leading the charge, this team is a tough opponent that can challenge anyone, as shown in their close matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

As the 2024 NFL season progresses, these winless teams must regroup and strategize in order to reverse their fortunes. While some face significant hurdles, others have the potential for a dramatic turnaround. Only time will tell which teams can overcome their early setbacks and transform into playoff contenders.
