**Al Pacino Celebrates Milestone with Youngest Son Roman**
Veteran actor Al Pacino, famous for his iconic roles in films like "The Godfather" and "Scarface," is cherishing the growth of his youngest child, Roman, who was born in June 2023. During an interview with The New York Times, published on October 5, Pacino, aged 84, shared updates about Roman, whom he co-parents with Noor Alfallah. Discussing his young son, Pacino noted, "He's come into the world a little more now. He's learning things."
Pacino, who will release his memoir "Sonny Boy" on October 8, revealed one of the motivations behind the book was his experience of fatherhood in his 80s. "That has been a campaign for me to stick around a little longer if it's possible," he remarked.
When the conversation turned to which of his films his son should watch to appreciate his acting skills, Pacino humorously suggested the 2011 comedy "Jack and Jill" featuring Adam Sandler, in which he has a memorable cameo. The actor recounted, "I think that's funny. It came at a time in my life that I needed it because it was after I found out I had no more money." The cameo, where Pacino performs a Dunkin' Donuts commercial under the persona "Dunk," has since become an internet phenomenon. "You know how many people think I actually made that commercial? I mean it's just so unfair," he laughed.
An insider previously shared with PEOPLE the excitement Pacino felt in anticipation of Roman’s birth. "Al loves being a father and always has. He is excited," they revealed, emphasizing that parenthood has always played a significant role in his life.
In addition to Roman, Pacino has three older children: a daughter, Julie Marie, 34, with ex-partner Jan Tarrant, and twins, Anton and Olivia, 23, with former partner Beverly D'Angelo.
Pacino's new memoir, "Sonny Boy," delves deeper into his personal journey and will be available for purchase starting October 8.
