Actor Walton Goggins, known for his recent Emmy-nominated performance in "Fallout," has opened up about his experience filming "The White Lotus" season 3, revealing the unexpected financial implications of staying at the luxurious resort.

During an appearance on "The Late Show," Goggins shared details of his six-month shoot in Thailand, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to stay at the five-star hotel used as both an accommodation and shooting location. However, he also highlighted an unexpected cost associated with checking out of the prestigious establishment.

Goggins clarified that while room stays were covered during filming, incidentals such as food and beverages were not included in the accommodation package. "What they don't tell you when you check into the White Lotus is how expensive it is to check out of the White Lotus," he revealed, emphasizing that this was not just an issue for him but for everyone involved in the production.

The actor shared a humorous anecdote about receiving his hotel bill six weeks into filming. "I looked at my bill and I started laughing," said Goggins, recalling his disbelief upon discovering the cost of his incidentals. He questioned the seemingly exorbitant price of Thai spiced cashews, only to find out that they indeed accounted for a significant portion of his bill.

When host Stephen Colbert asked about the quantity of cashews consumed, Goggins admitted to having indulged in more than he initially thought. "I thought I had maybe, like, five. And they said, 'No, you had 30.'" he confessed, adding to the surprise of the unexpected expense.

Goggins also revealed an additional expense related to his alcohol consumption during filming, admitting to purchasing a $150 bottle of prosecco. Colbert humorously questioned whether such an expense was justified, holding up a photo of Goggins posing with the bottle by the ocean. "It was a good time; it was a really good time," said Goggins, emphasizing the overall enjoyment of his experience despite the financial surprises.

Joining Walton Goggins in "The White Lotus" season 3 are Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Blackpink member Lisa (credited as Lalisa Manobal), Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Tayme Thapthimthong, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Nicholas Duvernay, Francesca Corney, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Morgana O'Reilly, Lek Patravadi, and Shalini Peiris. The highly anticipated third season of the hit HBO series is set to premiere in 2025.

Goggins' revelation serves as a reminder to be aware of incidental costs when staying at luxury resorts, even when filming a successful television series.
