Travis Scott's highly anticipated concert in Chicago was abruptly postponed, causing disappointment and frustration among fans who were already on their way to the show. The sudden cancellation led to an outpouring of online complaints directed towards the rapper.

The announcement of the postponement came via a statement from the United Center, where the Utopia - Circus Maximus tour show was set to take place. The statement was released on both X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram after 4 p.m. ET on Friday. The venue provided no specific reason for the cancellation, leaving fans in the dark about the sudden change of plans.

As news of the postponement spread, angry fans took to social media to express their disappointment. One fan commented on Travis Scott's Instagram, expressing how ready they were for the concert and questioning why an earlier notice was not given. Another fan, who had driven five hours to reach the United Center, expressed disbelief at the last-minute decision.

Despite the fans' frustration, Travis Scott has not addressed the situation on social media. However, he did write a cryptic message via X after the postponement, expressing his frustration by saying, "IM SOOOOOO F-KKKKINGGGGG HOTTTTTTTTTTT." The meaning behind his statement remains unclear.

Speculation arose among fans as to why the concert was postponed. Some suggested that Travis Scott may have been unable to make it to Chicago in time due to his recent performance at the Soundstorm festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The rapper had reportedly opened the festival the day before with popular hits like "Fe!n" and "Goosebumps." Some fans accused Travis Scott of prioritizing money from the Saudi event over his Chicago performance.

This latest backlash against Travis Scott comes at a time when he is working to repair his image following the tragic events at his Astroworld concert in November 2021. The incident resulted in the deaths of 10 people, prompting Scott to release a statement expressing his devastation and offering condolences to the affected families.

Page Six reached out to Travis Scott's representatives and United Center for comment but did not receive an immediate response. The postponement of the Chicago concert has left fans disappointed and eager for further clarification on the situation.
