In anticipation of the upcoming NFL game between Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, a local radio station in Philadelphia has announced a temporary ban on Taylor Swift's music. Q102, known for playing popular hits, has decided not to include any songs by Swift until at least Tuesday, in order to show support for the home team.

Nugget, one of the hosts at Q102, explained the station's decision, stating, "Q102 loves Taylor Swift, we can't get enough of her, but this weekend it's really important we show our support for the Birds," as reported by CBS News Philadelphia. The ban comes as a result of Swift's romantic relationship with Chiefs player, Travis Kelce.

The announcement comes shortly after Taylor Swift publicly acknowledged her relationship with Kelce during a recent performance in Buenos Aires. While singing her track 'Karma', Swift changed the lyrics to, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me," giving a shout-out to her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, in a festive collaboration, Travis Kelce and his brother Jason have teamed up for a cover of The Pogues' holiday classic, 'Fairytale Of New York'. The brothers showcase their musical talents off the field, spreading holiday cheer through their rendition of the beloved song.

In other news related to Swift, her ongoing Eras Tour faced a tragic incident in Brazil. Prior to her show in Brazil, a fan named Ana Clara Benevides Machado, 23, passed away. She collapsed at the concert venue and suffered a cardiac arrest. Swift expressed her devastation through an Instagram post, offering her condolences to the fan's family and friends.

The concert in Rio de Janeiro, scheduled for yesterday, was postponed due to extreme heat. Swift emphasized her commitment to the safety and well-being of her fans, fellow performers, and crew, making the decision to delay the show amidst record-breaking temperatures in the Brazilian city.

Despite the challenges faced during her South American tour, Swift's album '1989 (Taylor's Version)' continues to enjoy success. It held off re-issued albums from The Beatles, 'Blue' and 'Red', to secure the top spot on the UK Albums Chart this week, showcasing the enduring popularity of Swift's music.

As preparations intensify for the Chiefs-Eagles game, fans eagerly anticipate the clash between two formidable teams. While Swift's music may be temporarily absent from the airwaves in Philadelphia, the excitement for the upcoming matchup remains unchanged.
