Country music artist Chris Young was arrested on Monday night at a popular Nashville bar in Tennessee, according to Fox News Digital. The "I'm Comin' Over" singer was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting an officer by the Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC).

The arrest took place when agents from the Alcoholic Beverage Commission entered Tin Roof bar around 8:30 p.m. on Monday to conduct a compliance check. During the check, an agent approached Young, who was holding his ID card above his head. After verifying the age requirements, the agent returned the ID to Young, who then proceeded to ask questions while recording the ABC agents.

After completing the check at Tin Roof, the agents moved on to Dawg House, a neighboring bar. Young and a group of people followed the agents to Dawg House. As Young attempted to leave the establishment, an agent alleged that Young put out his arm to block the agent's exit and struck him. The agent pushed the musician back to create distance, leading to involvement from other bar patrons.

Young had to be physically apprehended with handcuffs, while his associates reportedly contributed to escalating the hostility of the situation. The ABC affidavit mentioned that Young exhibited bloodshot and watery eyes, as well as blurred speech.

As of now, Chris Young's representative has not responded to inquiries from Fox News Digital regarding this incident. Young rose to fame after winning the singing competition "Nashville Star" in 2006 and subsequently signed with RCA Records Nashville. He released his debut album in the same year, which included his first single "Drinkin' Me Lonely" that reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot Country chart after initially peaking at 45.

Throughout his career, Young has released a total of eight studio albums, with his most recent release, "Famous Friends," coming out in 2021. The musician's arrest adds a new chapter to his journey, as fans and industry watchers wait to see what unfolds next in this legal matter.
