The proud father, 74, revealed that he earned some major "cool dad points" by treating his little ones to the unforgettable concert.

Joel, known for hits like "Piano Man" and "Uptown Girl," expressed his delight at being able to provide his children with the opportunity to both witness and meet the Bad Blood songstress. Speaking to People at the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame, which unveiled an exhibit in his honor, Joel reminisced about the special night they spent together.

The Grammy-winning musician couldn't help but gush about Taylor Swift and her impressive performance. Joel described her as "great" and "really very good," and even expressed his desire to attend another show. It seems that both Joel and his daughters thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Shortly after the concert, Joel took to Instagram to share some cherished moments from the night. He posted a snapshot capturing a behind-the-scenes view, where he held his daughters' hands and guided them through the crowded stadium. Additionally, he shared pictures of Della and Remy all dressed up for the occasion, as well as a sweet selfie taken by his wife, Alexis Roderick, with their daughters before the festivities began. To top it off, Joel included a short video clip of his girls enthusiastically dancing to one of Swift's tracks, "Ready For It?", during the live performance.

This isn't the first time Joel has expressed his admiration for Taylor Swift. In a previous interview with USA Today, he compared her to the legendary band, The Beatles, praising her talent and songwriting abilities. Swift reciprocated the praise, calling Joel an icon and expressing her disbelief at the compliment.

In addition to this heartwarming family outing, Billy Joel was recently honored with an exhibition dedicated to his impressive music career at the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. Titled "Billy Joel - My Life, A Piano Man's Journey," the exhibit showcases rare memorabilia, videos, awards, recordings, instruments, and photos spanning over 50 years, many of which were generously donated from Joel's personal collection.

As Joel prepares to bid farewell to his longtime residency at Madison Square Garden, scheduled to end in July 2024, he chooses to cherish precious moments with his loved ones. The doting father expressed his joy in spending time with his daughters, revealing that being a stay-at-home dad is how he now enjoys his life outside of the spotlight.
