The Minnesota Vikings are keeping their options open for wide receiver Jordan Addison's potential participation in Sunday night's game against the Green Bay Packers. Addison sustained a knee injury during last weekend's loss to the Detroit Lions and sat out practice on Wednesday. However, he made a return to the field on Thursday, engaging in a limited workout. He followed up with another limited session on Friday, leaving his status as questionable for the upcoming matchup.

With rookie Jaren Hall set to take the starting quarterback role and tight end T.J. Hockenson sidelined for the remainder of the season, Addison's presence on the offense would prove to be valuable against the Packers. The Vikings are hopeful that he will be able to recover in time and contribute to their efforts to secure a victory.

In addition to Addison, the Vikings also have cornerback Mekhi Blackmon and linebacker Troy Dye listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Blackmon is dealing with a shoulder injury and an illness, while Dye injured his wrist. Both players' availability will likely be determined closer to game time.

On the defensive side, safety Theo Jackson, cornerback Byron Murphy Jr., wide receiver Jalen Nailor, and defensive lineman Jaquelin Roy will not be able to play due to various injuries. Jackson is nursing a toe injury, Murphy Jr. is recovering from a knee issue, Nailor is in the concussion protocol, and Roy has an ankle ailment.

As the Vikings prepare for their pivotal matchup against the Packers, the team remains hopeful that Addison, Blackmon, and Dye can make a recovery and contribute to their efforts on Sunday. The final decision regarding their availability will be made closer to kickoff.
