New Buffalo Football Coach Pete Lembo Brings Years of Experience and Success

In an exciting announcement, the University at Buffalo revealed that South Carolina's special teams coach, Pete Lembo, has been chosen as the next head coach for the Buffalo football team. The 53-year-old coach has signed a five-year contract, adding stability and expertise to the team.

Lembo will be taking over from Maurice Linguist, who recently accepted a position as co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach at the University of Alabama. During his three seasons as Buffalo's head coach, Linguist achieved a record of 14 wins and 23 losses.

The new Buffalo coach has an impressive track record in the Mid-American Conference (MAC), having led Ball State to a solid 33-29 overall record, including a 23-17 record in league play, during his five years as head coach.
