In an upcoming co-main event clash at UFC Vegas 85, Renato Moicano is prepared to make a statement and secure an "easy" victory against Drew Dober. However, Moicano already has his sights set on his next opponent, as he expressed his desire to face Dan Hooker during the UFC 301 event in Rio de Janeiro on May 4.

Speaking on MMA Fighting's Trocação Franca podcast, Moicano spoke about his fondness for UFC Brazil cards, which often bring easier opponents for Brazilian fighters. Having fought four times in Brazil since joining the UFC, with wins over Tom Niinimaki, Zubaira Tukhugov, and Damir Hadzovic, Moicano is hopeful that the trend continues. The only setback on Brazilian soil came in a co-headlining clash in 2019 when he suffered a second-round stoppage defeat against ex-champion Jose Aldo, whom he jokingly referred to as his "easy fight."

Moicano emphasized the Brazilian fans' penchant for excitement during UFC events held in their homeland, which often leads to favorable matchups for the Brazilian fighters. When asked about potential "easy" opponents for UFC 301, Moicano quickly mentioned Dan Hooker, Bobby Green, and Michael Chandler. However, he acknowledged that a fight against Chandler was unlikely due to his upcoming clash with Conor McGregor.

Regarding Dan Hooker, Moicano expressed doubts that "The Hangman" would agree to fight him, accusing Hooker of avoiding challenging matchups. While acknowledging that Jalin Turner, whom Hooker defeated, posed a different challenge, Moicano believed the stylistic matchup favored him due to his height advantage and superior ground game.

Regardless of his opponent, Moicano recognized the significance of each fight in shaping his career. He highlighted the importance of showcasing his personality, delivering compelling post-fight speeches, and securing opponents that make sense to the UFC. Moicano passionately expressed his pursuit of financial success, rankings, and a successful career, stating that he aimed to assert his dominance and establish himself as a deserving contender.

With UFC Vegas 85 fast approaching, Renato Moicano is adamant about executing his game plan against Drew Dober. Satisfied with his preparation, he remains confident about his ability to emerge victorious. As the countdown to UFC 301 begins, fans eagerly await the announcement of Moicano's next opponent, hoping for an exciting clash featuring the Brazilian star.
