**Jon Jones Takes Aim at Tom Aspinall on Social Media but Misses Key Detail**

Amid rising anticipation from fans for a blockbuster bout, legendary two-weight UFC champion Jon Jones has unleashed a series of critiques aimed at Britain's interim heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall, via social media. Upon returning from abroad where he was engaged in filming a reality TV show, Jones wasted no time engaging with fans and voicing his opinions about Aspinall.

Jones, known for his unfiltered social media presence, posted several comments about Aspinall, disputing the English fighter's current standing. Jones responded to a fan's suggestion that Aspinall should be the undisputed champion at 265 pounds with a sarcastic, "That's awesome, you guys could use one." However, the critique didn't stop there.

The UFC legend doubled down in response to another tweet, making a bold claim that Aspinall had been submitted twice. "Unfortunately, my boy is not as special as his fan base thinks he is right now. I've seen Tom get tapped out twice now by two different people. Time will show. Here today gone tomorrow," Jones tweeted. This statement puzzled many, as Aspinall's record shows only one submission loss, which occurred nearly a decade ago to Stuart Austin in BAMMA.

Moreover, Jones indicated that he has been in communication with the UFC regarding his plans related to a potential fight against Aspinall. At a recent seminar, Jones hinted that any official announcements would have to come from UFC President Dana White due to legal constraints. "Tom and I have agreed to wait for the UFC to make their announcements. So legally I can't really talk about it," he explained.

For now, the feud remains confined to social media exchanges as fans eagerly await further developments. Jones’ remarks have certainly stirred the pot, adding more intrigue to a potential clash between two of the UFC's heavyweight titans.
