In a crucial AFC North showdown with playoff implications, the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing to face off on Saturday. Both teams are dealing with injured players, which could greatly impact the outcome of the game.

The Steelers, who need a win and help from other teams to secure a playoff spot, are facing challenges of their own. Quarterback Kenny Pickett, who has been dealing with an ankle issue, participated fully in practice all week. However, head coach Mike Tomlin has decided to start Mason Rudolph instead. Additionally, Safeties Fitzpatrick and Thompson, along with linebacker Roberts, are all listed as questionable and were limited participants in Wednesday and Thursday's practice sessions.

On the other side, the Ravens have already locked up the No. 1 seed but have chosen to rest several key starters for this game. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., linebacker Malik Harrison, cornerback Marlon Humphrey, and quarterback Lamar Jackson are all out per coach's decision. The absence of Humphrey and Jackson could pose a challenge for the Ravens' secondary. The Ravens' offensive line is also impacted, with offensive guard Kevin Zeitler out due to knee and quad issues, and wide receiver Zay Flowers listed as doubtful with a calf injury.

In terms of injuries, the Colts are also dealing with key players in question for their game against the Houston Texans. A victory secures at least a wild card spot for the Colts. However, they are facing uncertainty on the offensive line with center Ryan Kelly, guard Quenton Nelson, and tackle Braden Smith all listed as questionable. Linebacker Chris Lammons is ruled out with an ankle injury, while cornerback Kenny Moore II and running back Zack Moss have been listed as questionable, with Moss practicing in full on Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Texans are battling for a playoff spot and would secure a berth with a win. However, they will be without linebacker Jonathan Greenard and cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III. Several other starters, including linebacker Anderson, linebacker Collins, defensive tackle Rankins, and offensive tackle Tunsil are listed as questionable after being limited participants in Thursday's practice. Safety Woods did not practice all week.

Both teams are well aware of the importance of this game and the potential impact on their playoff hopes. As the Ravens sit key starters, the Steelers will be eager to take advantage of their situation. The Colts and Texans will also be looking to field their strongest teams despite the uncertainty surrounding some of their key players. The outcome of these games will have significant consequences for the postseason picture in the AFC.
