The Pittsburgh Steelers have unveiled their final injury report for their upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns, shedding light on the availability of key players. The team confirmed that three players have been ruled out for the game, while others are listed as questionable.

Safety Keanu Neal will be sidelined for the game due to a rib injury he sustained while returning an interception last week. Also missing in action will be safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, who will be sitting out his third consecutive game after suffering a hamstring injury in Week Eight's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Additionally, nose tackle Montravius Adams will be absent from the lineup due to an ankle injury.

In a positive development, defensive lineman Cam Heyward, who has been grappling with a groin injury, practiced on a limited basis on Friday. Fortunately for the Steelers, Heyward has not been assigned a game status and is expected to take the field on Sunday against the Browns.

Wide receiver Diontae Johnson and tight end Pat Freiermuth, both dealing with thumb and hamstring injuries respectively, participated fully in practice and do not carry any game status. However, Freiermuth is still listed as questionable.

Fitzpatrick's absence will see Damontae Kazee and practice squad member Trenton Thompson being thrust into starting safety roles against Cleveland. Thompson received some playing time in last Sunday's victory over the Green Bay Packers, impressing both teammates and coaches. The Steelers will need to sign or elevate Thompson off the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game.

While Freiermuth's final game status remains uncertain, his positive practice participation bodes well for his availability. The rookie tight end expressed confidence in suiting up for the matchup against the Browns. Officially activating Freiermuth off the injured reserve and onto the 53-man roster will be a requirement, with the deadline set for 4 PM/EST on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Montravius Adams will miss his second straight game after exiting early from the Week Nine triumph over the Tennessee Titans. Rookie defensive lineman Keeanu Benton will step up to fill Adams' role, having impressed with his performances over the past two games and earning praise from both teammates and coaches.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to face off against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at 1 PM/EST, with fans eager to see how their team copes with the absence of several key players.
