PITTSBURGH - Steelers linebacker Elandon Roberts has made his return to practice at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Wednesday after being sidelined due to a pectoral injury. The team is diligently preparing for their Week 18 game against the Baltimore Ravens, with a potential playoff spot on the line.

Roberts, who missed the previous practice on Tuesday, participated in the early portion of Wednesday's practice. Although the team has not released an injury report, it is likely that Roberts and other players present will be listed as limited participants. Expressing optimism about his recovery, Roberts stated, "I'm still taking it one day at a time, but I felt good today. It's about how I feel going into tomorrow, and I'm feeling confident."

With one practice left on Thursday before their crucial matchup against the Ravens, the Steelers will announce their final injury designations for the game on Thursday afternoon. Roberts remained tight-lipped about the specifics of his injury but assured fans not to count him out just yet when he stated, "I'm taking it one day at a time, but you know me. Don't count me out."

Roberts has played an integral role in the Steelers' defensive efforts throughout the season. Initially serving as the third linebacker in rotation alongside Cole Holcomb and Kwon Alexander, injuries to his teammates promoted Roberts to a full-time starting position. Adapting to various lineup changes at the linebacker position, Roberts has displayed his versatility and importance to the team's defensive unit.

As the Steelers look to secure a playoff spot, the return of Elandon Roberts to practice is a positive sign for the team. His presence will bolster the defense's effectiveness and provide much-needed stability in the critical game against the Baltimore Ravens, set to take place in the upcoming week.
