In preparation for their Week 9 clash against the formidable Kansas City Chiefs, the Miami Dolphins held their first practice on Wednesday at PSB Bank Arena in Frankfurt, Germany. The team announced their initial injury report for the week, which listed a total of 12 players.

Among the non-participants were offensive lineman Robert Hunt, who is nursing a hamstring injury, safety Brandon Jones, who is recovering from a concussion, running back Raheem Mostert, dealing with an ankle injury, and tight end Durham Smythe, who is also battling an ankle issue. Their absence from practice raises concerns about their availability for the upcoming game.

Limited participation was recorded for offensive tackle Terron Armstead, who is dealing with a knee concern, wide receiver River Cracraft, recovering from a shoulder injury, center Connor Williams, managing a groin issue, and cornerbacks Xavien Howard, Nik Needham, and Jalen Ramsey, all nursing different groin, Achilles, and knee problems respectively. The Dolphins will monitor their progress closely throughout the week.

Providing some relief, fullback Alec Ingold and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle returned to full practice. Ingold, who had been nursing a foot injury, and Waddle, who had a back concern, seemed to have made significant progress in their recovery. Their participation bodes well for their availability on game day.

Furthermore, the Dolphins were pleased to report that cornerbacks Kader Kohou and Cam Smith, as well as linebacker David Long Jr. and safety Jevon Holland, were removed from the injury report since last week. This indicates their successful recovery and reinstatement to the team.

The Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to face off on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET at Deutsche Bank Park. With several key players mentioned on the injury report, the Dolphins will be hoping for a speedy recovery and a full-strength squad to take on the Chiefs' potent offense.
