In a shocking turn of events, Chance Comanche, a G League player with the Stockton Kings, was arrested by FBI agents on Friday on a felony charge connected to the disappearance of a young woman in Las Vegas. The 27-year-old Comanche was apprehended in Sacramento County, California, and is currently being held without bail.

According to reports from KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, a warrant for first-degree kidnapping was issued in Las Vegas Justice Court on Friday morning. Comanche is a suspect in the disappearance of Marayna Rodgers, a 23-year-old medical assistant from Washington state. Rodgers was last seen in the Las Vegas area on December 6.

The Stockton Kings had played a game against the G League Ignite in nearby Henderson, Nevada, the night before Rodgers went missing. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance and any potential connection to Comanche are still under investigation.

In relation to the case, another individual, Sakari Harnden, 19, was also arrested on a first-degree kidnapping charge in Clark County, Nevada. Harnden is currently being held on $500,000 bail according to jail records.

Chance Comanche, a 6-foot-10 center, played college basketball at Arizona before joining the G League. He had previously appeared in one NBA game with the Portland Trail Blazers on April 9.

Following his arrest, the Stockton Kings have released Comanche from the team. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday to face the charges brought against him.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are working tirelessly to bring clarity to the circumstances surrounding Marayna Rodgers' disappearance. The implications surrounding this alarming incident have left the basketball community and the public shocked and concerned.
