Former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is garnering attention from multiple NFL teams as he becomes available for hire. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Vrabel is set to interview with the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, with the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks also expressing interest in meeting with him.

The Chargers, who have been linked closely to Jim Harbaugh as their next head coach, have already completed an interview but have not yet made a final decision. Atlanta, on the other hand, seems to be seriously considering bringing in veteran coach Bill Belichick for a second interview, possibly hinting at a potential move for the New England Patriots legend to the NFC South.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks are casting a wide net in their search for a head coach. Reports suggest that they have requested interviews with eight current coordinators across the NFL, with Vrabel being the first candidate not attached to any team.

Vrabel's tenure with the Titans came to an end after a disappointing 6-11 season, which saw the team finish last in the AFC South. Tennessee has not won a playoff game since the 2019 season, when they unexpectedly reached the AFC Championship Game.

As a free agent, Vrabel does not require formal interview requests like assistants who are currently employed. This allows teams to directly approach him and discuss potential opportunities.

With Vrabel's wealth of experience as a player and coach, it is no surprise that multiple teams are vying for his services. As the interviews and negotiations continue, football fans will be eagerly awaiting the next moves from the Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, and Seattle Seahawks as they look to secure their next head coach for the upcoming season.
