Florida State University's top-ranked commitment in the 2024 class, KJ Bolden, recently returned to Tallahassee for an electrifying primetime victory over Duke. Bolden, a five-star recruit from Buford, Georgia, shared his thoughts on the game, the atmosphere, and his future plans.

Bolden, who has attended four FSU games in-person this season, expressed his excitement about watching the Seminoles play inside Doak Campbell Stadium during primetime. Despite a challenging first half, he commended Coach Norvell's motivational talk during halftime, which helped the team turn the game around and secure a win.

Reflecting on the stellar performance of the defensive back room, Bolden highlighted his teammate, Shyheim Brown, and his impressive diving interception during the game. He emphasized the strong defensive prowess of the team, making it difficult for opponents to throw the ball effectively.

Having previously visited FSU as an uncommitted recruit, Bolden noted that the experience as a committed player was even more exceptional. With a sold-out crowd and people recognizing him throughout the area, he felt a sense of camaraderie and support from the FSU community.

As one of the notable recruits on campus, Bolden embraced his role as a recruiter, focusing on younger players from the 2025 and 2026 classes. He aimed to showcase the special atmosphere at FSU and encourage them to consider joining the Seminoles.

Before departing, Bolden had a conversation with head coach Mike Norvell, who stressed the importance of maintaining a strong mindset for the upcoming away games. Norvell reminded the team that rankings shouldn't determine their approach, as every opponent deserves equal respect.

Despite attracting interest from several schools, including Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, and Oregon, Bolden remains committed to FSU. He mentioned the possibility of visiting Auburn or Alabama in the future but expressed a desire to take some time to relax and enjoy his commitment to FSU.

Looking ahead, Bolden plans to be present in Tallahassee for the highly anticipated FSU versus Miami game. He also revealed that discussions are underway regarding his participation in bowl game practices, although details about this opportunity remain undisclosed for now.

KJ Bolden's presence in Tallahassee continues to strengthen FSU's recruitment efforts and bolster the team's anticipation for a successful future. With his unwavering commitment and standout performances, Bolden is poised to make a significant impact on the Seminoles' football program.
