Injured tight end Dallas Goedert of the Philadelphia Eagles is unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. The team has officially listed Goedert as doubtful for the contest. However, Goedert did make a limited return to practice on Friday after nursing a forearm injury.

Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox is another key player whose status for the game remains uncertain. Cox, who has been dealing with a groin injury, did not participate in practice all week. The team has designated Cox as questionable, leaving his availability hanging in the balance for the upcoming showdown.

Joining Cox in the questionable category is tight end Grant Calcaterra, who is nursing an ankle injury. Despite missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Calcaterra was able to participate on a limited basis during Friday's practice. Whether he will be able to suit up on Sunday remains to be seen.

Unfortunately for the Eagles, linebacker Zach Cunningham and safety Justin Evans have already been ruled out for the game. Cunningham is dealing with a hamstring injury, while Evans is recovering from a knee issue.

On a positive note, wide receiver A.J. Brown, who was limited at practice earlier in the week due to a thigh injury, participated fully on Friday. As a result, Brown has no game status and is expected to be available against the 49ers.

Several players have been cleared to play on Sunday, including defensive tackle Jordan Davis, offensive tackle Lane Johnson, wide receiver Julio Jones, wide receiver DeVonta Smith, running back D'Andre Swift, and defensive tackle Milton Williams. However, it should be noted that all these players were not mentioned in the injury report and their game status was not provided.

With key players like Goedert and Cox uncertain for the game, the Eagles will have to rely on their depth and resilience to try and secure a victory against a formidable 49ers team. The final announcement on player availability will be made closer to kick-off, as the team assesses the fitness of its injured stars.
