Denver Broncos Prepare for Roster Changes Ahead of Green Bay Packers Game

As the Denver Broncos gear up for their game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, they have already made a couple of roster moves earlier this week. Wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey was promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, while fellow receiver Michael Bandy was re-signed to the practice squad.
The Broncos made these moves necessitated by the earlier decision to cut pass rusher Frank Clark. Humphrey was initially cut from the active roster to make room for tight end Greg Dulcich, who returned from injured reserve. However, with Frank Clark's departure, Humphrey finds himself back on the active roster.
Meanwhile, Bandy returns to the practice squad after briefly being cut to make room for Humphrey. The Broncos are expected to make two more roster moves in the coming days, with pass rusher Baron Browning likely to be elevated from the reserve/physically unable to perform (PUP) list to the 53-man roster.
To create a spot for Browning, the Broncos may opt to place Dulcich back on injured reserve. Dulcich sustained another hamstring injury in Week 6, and although he has not been officially placed on IR as of now, it wouldn't be surprising if such a move is made before the game against the Packers.
In addition to Browning, the Broncos also had running back Hassan Hall and tight end John Samuel Shenker try out for the team earlier this week. While they have not been signed yet, they might be considered for the practice squad or reserve/future contracts later in the season.
It remains to be seen whether Browning will be activated in time for the game against the Packers. However, signs indicate that his return is likely. As for Dulcich, his potential placement on injured reserve highlights the challenges the team faces in maintaining a healthy roster.
The Broncos are looking to make strategic changes to their lineup as they prepare to face the Packers on Sunday. With ongoing roster adjustments and the potential addition of Browning, the team aims to strengthen their defense and deliver a competitive performance.
