Destin Wade, on the other hand, is a rising sophomore quarterback who possesses immense talent and potential. Standing at 6-3 and weighing 223 pounds, Destin was ranked as the No. 293 prospect in the 2022 class. Notably, he earned the prestigious title of Mr. Football in the state of Tennessee for Division I, Class 6A during his senior season. While he redshirted his freshman year, Destin was able to make an appearance for the Wildcats in a single game this year. As he joins the Buffaloes, Destin is expected to bring his exceptional quarterbacking abilities, adding depth and skill to the team's offensive lineup.

The Wade twins join a considerable number of transfers who have chosen to don the Buffaloes' uniform this offseason. Notable additions include Vanderbilt wide receiver Will Sheppard, Indiana offensive linemen Kahlil Benson and Matthew Bedford, Houston offensive lineman Tyler Johnson, and UTEP lineman Justin Mayers.
