In preparation for their playoff run against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Buffalo Bills have been dealing with several key injuries. Wide receiver Gabe Davis, who hurt his knee last Sunday night, did not participate in the team's first on-field work of the week. It was previously rumored that Davis might be able to return for the playoff game, but his absence from practice raises questions about his availability.

The Bills' defensive unit was also affected by injuries. Cornerback Rasul Douglas, who also injured his knee during the game against the Miami Dolphins, joined Davis as an observer during Wednesday's practice. Furthermore, safety Taylor Rapp had to sit out due to a calf injury.

On the positive side, quarterback Josh Allen, safety Damar Hamlin, and safety Micah Hyde were full participants in practice, indicating that they are ready to take the field against the Steelers. Left tackle Dion Dawkins, linebacker Tyrel Dodson, and running back Ty Johnson were limited participants, suggesting that they are progressing in their recoveries.

In terms of rest days, both edge rushers Leonard Floyd and Von Miller took the opportunity to rest and recover ahead of the crucial playoff game.

The Bills will closely monitor the progress of their injured players in the coming days to determine their availability for the game on Sunday. The team and fans alike will be hoping for a quick recovery for Davis and Douglas, as their contributions could be vital in the Bills' quest for playoff success.
