And Washington, which hasn't been interested in Bill Belichick. So every sign right now points to the fact that this hiring cycle is going to come and go without the greatest coach of all time landing a job."

This news comes after the Atlanta Falcons, who had previously interviewed Belichick twice for their head coaching vacancy, surprised many by hiring Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris instead. The Falcons had also considered high-profile candidates such as Jim Harbaugh and Mike Vrabel. It was widely believed that they were seeking a renowned figure to replace Arthur Smith. However, Falcons owner Arthur Blank opted for Morris, a well-respected assistant who is getting his second chance at a head coaching position.
