In a shocking turn of events, the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) organization finds itself under intense scrutiny following a lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis. Grant alleges sexual assault, exploitation, and trafficking during her tenure with the company, leading to widespread accusations of complicity and fostering a culture of fear within WWE.

Dave Meltzer, in his latest "Wrestling Observer Newsletter," revealed reactions from individuals within WWE regarding the lawsuit. One WWE star reportedly found the details of the lawsuit emotionally scarring and expressed sadness over the realization that everyone in the company had been striving for McMahon's approval, only to discover that care was never reciprocated.

Moreover, there have been reports of significant trauma among women on the WWE roster, with fears that more individuals may come forward after Grant. According to a main roster star, management has remained largely silent on the matter, except for stating that McMahon will not be returning. Instead, the focus seems to be on celebrating the success of the Royal Rumble event and the recent Netflix broadcasting deal.

The lawsuit has also raised questions about WWE CCO Paul Levesque's involvement. Levesque, who is McMahon's son-in-law and the sole remaining McMahon family member within WWE, claimed that he had not read the lawsuit directly after the Royal Rumble. This statement was met with skepticism by some talents in the company.

It should be noted that Stephanie McMahon, Vince's daughter, departed WWE in January 2023 when her father forcefully reclaimed his position on the board. Meanwhile, Shane McMahon, Vince's son, has been absent from WWE since his return at WrestleMania 39. His match against The Miz was abruptly cancelled after he suffered a torn quadriceps, following a temporary removal from WWE by his father after the Royal Rumble 2022.

As the lawsuit continues to unfold, WWE finds itself at a critical juncture, with allegations of misconduct and complicity tarnishing its reputation. The wrestling community eagerly awaits further developments and hopes that justice will be served for all parties involved.
