Kelly Ripa, co-host of LIVE With Kelly And Mark, was unable to join the show this morning as she has lost her voice. Her absence left her husband and co-host, Mark Consuelos, to carry on without her. Instead, Consuelos was joined by longtime LIVE announcer Déjà Vu, who filled in for Ripa. This comes just days after Ripa and Consuelos celebrated Thanksgiving with Priyanka Chopra.

Explaining Ripa's absence, Consuelos shared, "Yesterday you could tell she was losing her voice a little bit - it's gone, it's lost." When asked about Ripa's condition, Consuelos reassured the audience, saying, "Yeah, she's gonna feel better, she's just resting a little bit. I'm sure she'll feel better soon."

During the program, Consuelos mentioned that he was quarantining away from Ripa to avoid getting laryngitis himself. The married couple began co-hosting LIVE permanently in April after longtime host Ryan Seacrest left the show.

In previous years, Ripa has faced challenges in securing a private office space at the studio. Despite requesting an office for privacy, she was denied access to empty spaces, which were reserved for executives visiting from Los Angeles. Even when her co-host, Regis Philbin, retired in 2011, she was not given his office. Instead, she had to make do with a janitor's closet turned into a makeshift office.

Ripa expressed her frustration, stating, "All of those offices that were not available to me were suddenly made available [to others], with walls knocked down to make them twice as big." She continued, "It was fascinating for me to watch - the need to make the new guy comfortable and respected, but I couldn't use those offices. I had to use the broom closet."

Despite these setbacks, Ripa has continued to thrive as a co-host of LIVE With Kelly And Mark. The show has welcomed various celebrity guests, and Ripa's dynamic with Consuelos has been well-received by audiences.

Ripa and Consuelos share three children together - Lola, 22, Michael, 26, and Joaquin, 20. As Ripa takes time to rest and recover her voice, fans eagerly await her return to LIVE With Kelly And Mark.
