In a recent interview on "Access Hollywood," Jerry O'Connell, co-host of "The Talk," addressed his wife Rebecca Romijn's surprise at being featured in John Stamos' memoir. The couple claimed that they had received no warning before the book, titled "If You Would Have Told Me," was released on Tuesday.
When asked about Stamos' remarks concerning their divorce, O'Connell chose not to comment, stating that it was his wife's place to address the matter. He emphasized that they are currently in a harmonious relationship and getting along well.
Rebecca Romijn, who was previously in a relationship with Stamos for a decade before marrying O'Connell in 2007, has yet to publicly react to the revelations in the memoir. The couple finalized their divorce in 2005.
Stamos, known for his role in "Fuller House," openly admitted to People magazine that he harbored negative feelings towards Romijn after their split, even going so far as to describe her as "the devil." He revealed that he was devastated by their breakup for a prolonged period of time before realizing his own role in the "humiliating" separation.
In "If You Would Have Told Me," Stamos hints at a sense of betrayal, describing the process as a sinking feeling in his stomach that eventually leads to an unpleasant truth. Despite reaching out to Romijn's representative, Page Six has yet to receive a response.
Romijn is not the only ex-girlfriend Stamos discusses in his memoir. He also alleges that actress Teri Copley cheated on him with Tony Danza, which Copley denied in a statement to People, claiming that they had already broken up at the time of the alleged incident.
Furthermore, Stamos writes about his complicated relationship with his "Full House" co-star Lori Loughlin, hinting at a potential romantic connection that was put on hold when he met Romijn. In his book, Stamos compares his dilemma of choosing between the two women to the iconic characters Sandy from the movie "Grease."
As the speculation surrounding Stamos' memoir continues to make waves, fans eagerly await a response from Rebecca Romijn and further commentary from those involved.
