Former Page 3 icon, Sam Fox, found herself in trouble after a 'drunken bust up' on a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Munich. The 57-year-old celebrity boarded the flight when she allegedly got into a boozy altercation with another passenger.
Sources revealed that Sam's behavior became disruptive, causing the plane to turn around on the runway and abandon takeoff in London. As a result, police arrested a woman in her 50s on suspicion of being drunk on board an aircraft. She has since been bailed until March while assisting with the ongoing investigation.
Expressing her remorse, Sam stated that she is "deeply sorry for any disruption caused" and is fully cooperating with the authorities. While Sam spent the night in jail, her fellow passengers were provided accommodations in a hotel before continuing their journey the following day.
This incident adds to the recent string of heartaches for Sam, who is still grieving the loss of her younger sister Vanessa, who passed away at the age of 50 last year. Vanessa's sudden death, just nine days after collapsing at her home following a heart attack, has deeply impacted Sam.
During an interview with The One Show, Sam emotionally discussed her participation in Celebrity MasterChef, which she filmed before her sister's passing. She revealed that they had practiced cooking together, including a Cottage Pie recipe that was particularly special to them. Sam still treasures her sister's cooking utensils and feels proud to have represented her sister on the show.
Sam's representative previously requested privacy for the family during the difficult time following Vanessa's death. The sisters were known to be extremely close, and the loss has undoubtedly taken an emotional toll on Sam.
Moreover, Sam also opened up about the death of her partner, Myra Stratton, in 2015 after a battle with cancer. The singer and former glamour model admitted that she struggled with her sadness, finding it difficult to write songs for two years. However, she eventually found love again with her new wife, Linda Olsen, and is now ready to release new music with an upcoming album on the horizon.
Sam, who achieved global success with her 1986 single "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)," last released an album in 2005 titled "Angel with an Attitude." Her journey of healing and finding happiness again has been significant for her artistic expression.
Despite the recent incident on the flight, Sam remains hopeful for the future and continues to focus on her music and personal life alongside the memories of her beloved sister and partner.
