Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish has been charged in her second DUI case after being found asleep at the wheel in a parked car in Beverly Hills, California last month, Rolling Stone confirmed. Haddish faces two misdemeanor counts: driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol level of at least 0.08 percent. Her arraignment is scheduled for December 22.

The representative for Haddish did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone's request for comment regarding the charges.

The incident occurred on November 24 when Haddish was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. Beverly Hills Police Department officials received a report of a person obstructing a roadway, possibly slumped over the wheel. Upon their arrival, a DUI investigation ensued, resulting in Haddish's arrest. She was later booked and released after several hours.

Prior to the arrest, Haddish had performed at the West Hollywood Laugh Factory during a free Thanksgiving event, according to TMZ.

This marks the second time in two years that Haddish has faced charges related to driving under the influence. In January 2022, she was arrested in Georgia after witnesses reported seeing her "asleep at the wheel." The ongoing separate case has Haddish due back in court on December 4.

In a recent interview with ET, Haddish expressed remorse and stated that such incidents "will never happen again." She expressed her intention to seek help in order to learn balance and boundaries.

The charges against Tiffany Haddish highlight the importance of responsible and safe driving practices. As the actress prepares for her arraignment next month, the outcome of this case will determine the legal consequences she may face.
