**Actor Jonathan Joss Fatally Shot in Dispute, Authorities Confirm**
Jonathan Joss, voice actor for the character John Redcorn on the animated series "King of the Hill," was tragically killed in a shooting on Saturday, according to confirmation from San Antonio police. He was 59 years old.
Authorities were called to a reported shooting at a residence around 7 p.m. on Sunday night. Upon arrival, officers discovered Joss near the roadside with multiple gunshot wounds. Immediate attempts were made to save his life before medics took over, but Joss was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspected shooter fled the scene in a vehicle but was apprehended by police just a block away. The individual has since been booked for murder, though the investigation continues. Reports from TMZ indicate that the incident stemmed from an argument with a neighbor.
Joss had been the voice of John Redcorn from the show's second season through its thirteenth, taking over the role after the original actor, Victor Aaron, passed away in a car accident in 1996. "King of the Hill," created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, originally aired on Fox from 1997 until 2009, amassing over 250 episodes. A highly anticipated revival of the show is scheduled to premiere on Hulu on August 4.
In addition to his memorable role on "King of the Hill," Joss made appearances in several other popular TV series and films, including recurring as Chief Ken Hotate in "Parks and Recreation," and roles in "Tulsa King," "Ray Donovan," "True Grit," and "The Magnificent Seven."
