Nightdive Studios, the renowned video game developer, has announced a delay in the release of the highly anticipated remastered version of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion. Originally scheduled to launch on November 14, the game will now be available on November 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is a faithful restoration of the classic first-person shooter, which was initially released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64. Developed using Nightdive Studios' proprietary KEX Engine, the remastered version allows players to enjoy the game on modern gaming devices with enhanced features, including up to a 4K resolution at 120 frames per second.

The remaster joins Nightdive Studios' successful Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil remasters, completing the beloved trilogy. Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion boasts updated gameplay, high-resolution textures, improved lighting and rendering, and support for console gamepads with platform-specific features.

One of the standout features of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is the implementation of Nightdive Studios' latest version of the KEX engine. This cutting-edge engine incorporates an upgraded renderer, delivering significantly enhanced visual fidelity throughout the game, including 3D models, textures, and graphical effects.

In the game, players take on the roles of Joseph and Danielle Fireseed, siblings of the protagonist from Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. Together, they must confront the formidable antagonist, Oblivion, and its followers known as the Flesh Eaters. This mission becomes even more perilous after the presumed demise of their brother at the hands of Oblivion.

The remastered version of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion will offer an exceptional gaming experience on popular gaming platforms. Players can look forward to enjoying the game with up to 4K resolution and 120 frames per second on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

Nightdive Studios has also incorporated advanced rendering features into the game, including anti-aliasing, bloom effects, ambient occlusion, dynamic shadows, and motion blur. Additionally, players on the Switch can take advantage of optional motion and gyro controls, while gamepad rumble features will further enhance the gameplay experience.

Furthermore, Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion will include Trophies and Achievements for players to unlock and showcase their accomplishments. This feature will be available across all platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.

Fans and gamers alike are eagerly anticipating the release of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion remastered, with the revised launch date of November 30, providing ample time to prepare for the thrilling adventure that awaits in this classic first-person shooter.
