In preparation for the upcoming NFL free agency and draft period, the Las Vegas Raiders are gearing up for a busy and transformative offseason. With their sights set on major impact additions, the Raiders are looking to address key positions and solidify their roster for the future.

One of the significant moves being considered is finding their quarterback of the future. The Raiders are contemplating drafting either Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels. While Williams is an enticing prospect, it appears unlikely that the star USC quarterback will be available. Therefore, the Raiders may focus more on Daniels, who has a strong chance of being selected within the top three picks. Reuniting Daniels with coach Antonio Pierce could be a priority for the Raiders, as they see him as the potential franchise quarterback they've been searching for.

In addition to the draft, the Raiders are also eyeing impactful signings in free agency. One such target is defensive tackle Jones, who could potentially be the top free agent available. Acquiring a player of Jones' caliber and pairing him with standout Maxx Crosby would significantly elevate the Raiders' defense and make them a force to be reckoned with in the AFC. Furthermore, poaching a key piece from their division rival, the two-time World Champions, Kansas City Chiefs, would add an extra layer of intrigue to this potential move.

Another noteworthy free agency target for the Raiders is Wilkins, a standout run-stuffing defensive tackle who surprised many by not receiving the franchise tag from the Miami Dolphins. Having a career-high nine sacks in 2023 and a previous connection with Raiders' defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, Wilkins would provide a substantial boost to an already improving defense in Las Vegas.

While a trade for cornerback L'Jarius Sneed from the Chiefs seems highly unlikely, the Raiders are willing to explore every option. Sneed's expertise and ability would be a tremendous addition to the team, but it would require a significant offer to convince Kansas City to part ways with a star player within the division.

Looking ahead to the NFL draft, the Raiders are considering top quarterback prospects Williams and Daniels as surefire hits. However, they are also open to selecting players at other positions and believe they can secure quality talent at No. 13 if they decide not to choose a quarterback.

All in all, the Raiders are poised to make notable moves this offseason that will capture attention around the league. Whether it's through drafting a future franchise quarterback, signing top free agents, or exploring potential trades, the team is focused on maximizing their chances of success for the upcoming season.
