The MLB Players Association is reportedly contemplating filing a formal complaint against Minnesota Twins executive chair Joe Pohlad for allegedly breaching a clause in the collective bargaining agreement. Pohlad's recent comments during a radio interview, where he stated that the Twins would not spend $30 million on a player at the moment, may have violated guidelines regarding discussing unsigned free agents' values or potential terms. The MLBPA retains the right to prompt an investigation upon receipt of a written complaint and, if found guilty, appropriate relief may be awarded. The MLBPA has yet to comment on the matter when contacted by CBS Sports.
