Other matchups in this region include San Diego State versus McNeese State, Kentucky versus Vermont, and Washington State versus Oklahoma/Virginia, among others.

In the West region, Lunardi predicts the North Carolina Tar Heels to reign as the number one seed in Los Angeles. The Arizona Wildcats, featuring former Tar Heel Caleb Love, are projected as the number two seed. Notable matchups in this region include BYU facing Grand Canyon University, Alabama taking on Samford, and Saint Mary's going head-to-head against Drake.

Moving to the South region, the consistent Houston team snags the number one seed and will host the bracket in Dallas. Marquette, led by coach Shaka Smart, secures the number two seed. Key matchups in this region include Florida versus St. John's/New Mexico, Wisconsin versus South Florida, and Auburn versus VCU.

The East region is led by the reigning champions, UConn, who take the number one seed and will dominate the Boston bracket. Following closely behind as the number two seed are the Tennessee Volunteers. Noteworthy matchups in this region include South Carolina versus Princeton, Kansas against Charleston, and Texas Tech versus James Madison.
