In the wake of his retirement from the NFL after an exceptional 13-year career as the Philadelphia Eagles center, Jason Kelce finds himself in high demand as networks vie for his services as a studio show host. Sources involved in the discussions have revealed to The Athletic that NBC, CBS, and ESPN are the likeliest landing spots for the charismatic former player.

Kelce's popularity skyrocketed thanks to his widely acclaimed podcast, "New Heights," which he co-hosts with his brother, Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. This podcast has the potential to generate millions in a separate partnership, further enhancing Kelce's bargaining power.

Both NBC and CBS present attractive options for Kelce as they offer NFL pregame shows that would allow him to commute easily from his home in Philadelphia. This would result in a reasonable one- to two-day work week for the national TV jobs. NBC's program is based in Stamford, Conn., while CBS operates out of Manhattan. NBC has already revamped its roster by adding Devin McCourty, making Kelce a perfect candidate to join as they continue to get younger and more contemporary.

CBS, on the other hand, has a vacant desk following the conclusion of the Super Bowl, with several free agents including Nate Burleson, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason, and Phil Simms. It comes as no surprise that CBS has already engaged in talks with Kelce regarding a potential collaboration.

Although NBC and CBS are viewed as the frontrunners, ESPN remains a formidable competitor and has expressed interest in adding Kelce to their lineup. With a range of shows, including those on Sunday and Monday, as well as daily NFL programs, ESPN presents a compelling opportunity for the retired center.

While Fox, currently in a Super Bowl year, may not be a viable destination due to its roster being already filled and the logistical challenge of being based on the West Coast, Amazon Prime Video could offer Kelce a contributor spot on "Thursday Night Football." Moreover, if the Kelces were to bring their popular podcast under the Amazon umbrella, it could potentially lead to a more significant partnership.

Kelce's unique position as a center sought after by networks is remarkable. Networks not only see him as a valuable addition but also as a potential joint acquisition with his brother, Travis, once he decides to retire, adding to the intrigue surrounding Jason's next career move in the world of football broadcasting.
