The 2024 IHSAA Iowa High School Wrestling State Championships are set to reach an exciting climax this weekend in Des Moines, IA. The tournament, taking place from February 14th to 17th at the Wells Fargo Arena, features the top wrestlers from across the state vying for glory in the final rounds of the season.

The three-day event has showcased the best Iowa High School Wrestlers from 3A-1A, including champions from the recent 2024 IHSAA State Dual Team Tournament held on February 3rd. Defending champions 3A Waverly-Shell Rock, 2A Osage, and 1A Don Bosco are all looking to retain their titles from last year's tournament.

As the tournament heads into its third and final day, the schedule has been announced for Day 3. Wrestlers will weigh in for Sessions 10 & 11 at 7:00 am, leading up to Session 11, where the IWCOA, IHSADA, and IHSAA Awards will be presented at 5:15 pm. The Grand March and Finals for all classes will kick off at 5:30 pm, showcasing the pinnacle of high school wrestling talent in Iowa.
