Following a lackluster performance in the 2023 report card grades, the Arizona Cardinals have been making significant strides in upgrading their facilities to better serve their players. Ranked second to last in the NFL last season, the team received low marks on categories such as family treatment, nutrition, weight room, and locker room among others.

General Manager Monti Ossenfort acknowledged the efforts made by team owner Michael Bidwill in initiating changes even before Ossenfort's arrival. Bidwill's willingness to invest in facility improvements has been evident through recent upgrades, such as providing a daycare and family room, eliminating player dinner charges, and revamping the weight room with new equipment.

The team has also addressed concerns about the size and quality of facilities, including the locker room, training room, and weight room, which were previously compared more to an office building than a top-notch athletic training center. While players' confidence in Bidwill's commitment to facility enhancements has increased since last year, there is still room for improvement to align with league standards.

In response to player feedback, the NFL Players Association sent out a questionnaire to gather input on team facilities. Out of 1,300 players surveyed, 60% responded during the data collection phase, providing valuable insights into the Cardinals' areas for growth.

As the Cardinals continue to prioritize player welfare and facility enhancements, the team aims to climb the ranks in the upcoming seasons and create a more conducive environment for player development and success.
