The Los Angeles Rams conducted their second organized team activity (OTA) practice of 2025 on Tuesday in Woodland Hills, California. The session was marked by standout performances, particularly from wide receiver Tutu Atwell, cornerback Emmanuel Forbes, and rookie tight end Terrance Ferguson.

In keeping with previous practices, the Rams mixed up team drills by pitting the projected first-team offense against the second-team defense and vice versa. This structure allowed multiple players to demonstrate their skills in various scenarios.

Tutu Atwell, a fifth-year wide receiver, capitalized on every opportunity. Known for securing a deep touchdown pass in the first OTA session, Atwell showcased his versatility this time by catching all four short to intermediate passes thrown his way by quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Emmanuel Forbes continued to impress during the practice. Early in the session, he effectively disrupted a pass from Jimmy Garoppolo intended for rookie wide receiver Mario Williams, earning commendation from head coach Sean McVay. Building on an interception in the first OTA, the third-year cornerback has consistently been a key defensive player.

Stafford, a seasoned 17-year quarterback, demonstrated his expertise with precision throws. His connection with Atwell, threading the needle between defenders, was particularly noteworthy. Another highlight was a pinpoint pass to wide receiver Britain Covey during team drills.

The play of the day came when Stafford linked up with tight end Terrance Ferguson on a back-shoulder throw in the end zone during the competitive "mamba" period of red zone drills. Immediately after almost missing a connection with running back Kyren Williams, Stafford redeemed himself by delivering a touchdown pass to tight end Tyler Higbee.

Defensively, veteran cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon nearly intercepted a pass from Garoppolo, while Forbes was also active, almost securing another pick during the mamba period.

Defensive end Braden Fiske was a notable participant in the practice, with defensive coordinator Chris Shula praising his recent performances and energy on the field.

The practice session was also graced by the presence of Rams legend and former left tackle Andrew Whitworth, who provided valuable tips to the offensive linemen and observed the drills from the sidelines.

The Rams' second OTA practice of 2025 highlighted the talents and preparedness of both new and seasoned players, setting an optimistic tone for the upcoming season.
