A chaotic scene unfolded at Astro Skate in Brandon, Florida, on Saturday night as a planned after party was abruptly canceled, leading to a massive riot involving over 400 individuals. Frustrated party-goers took to social media, encouraging others to "riot" and "confront law enforcement" at the skate park, resulting in widespread fighting, stealing, and damage to local businesses.

The turmoil commenced around 9:20 pm when an off-duty deputy reported a large crowd engaged in a brawl in Astro Skate's parking lot. Investigations revealed that the fight erupted after the venue canceled the after party due to the organizers' failure to hire an off-duty deputy, as per company policy. Although the skate park issued refunds, a wave of anger resonated among the party-goers, culminating in the call for a riot on social media.

Law enforcement authorities swiftly arrived on the scene to find a massive crowd causing disturbances and fighting. Deputies issued multiple warnings, urging the crowd to disperse and reminding them that they were trespassing. however, the group defied the authorities and continued the rampage. Subsequently, smaller groups broke away and targeted neighboring businesses.

Inside the Time Out Barber Shop, one breakout group viciously attacked a juvenile, beating him before throwing him through the shop's plate-glass window. The young victim sustained a severe cut on his hand and was subsequently taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he is in stable condition. Another group entered a nearby convenience store, causing over $500 worth of damage while stealing merchandise, particularly from the store's wine bottle selection.

Law enforcement personnel arrested a total of 29 individuals. Six adults were booked at Orient Road Jail, while the 23 minors were transferred to the Juvenile Assessment Center. Sheriff Chad Chronister expressed his outrage and promised that such violent and destructive behavior would never be tolerated in Hillsborough County. He emphasized the need for the community to stand against such acts and support hard-working individuals and businesses.
