### Harris Criticizes Trump's Alleged Praise of Hitler and Nazi Generals

Vice President Kamala Harris expressed severe concern over reported remarks made by former President Donald J. Trump, in which he allegedly praised Nazi generals and expressed a desire for a military loyal to him personally. These explosive comments were recounted by John Kelly, a former chief of staff to Trump, and have sparked significant controversy.

In a recent New York Times interview, Kelly, a retired four-star general, revealed that while Trump was in office, he admired the type of loyalty Adolf Hitler received from his generals during World War II. This revelation has led Harris to label Trump as "increasingly unhinged" in his aspirations for a second term. Harris emphasized the danger of such sentiments, highlighting that Trump's invocation of Hitler is deeply troubling, especially given the dictator's role in the Holocaust and the deaths of millions.

Harris further argued that Trump’s comments demonstrate a desire for "unchecked power" and a military allegiance that prioritizes Trump over the U.S. Constitution. This critique comes just 13 days before Election Day, suggesting that the Vice President hopes to remind voters of the contentious nature of Trump's previous administration.

Kelly's condemnation of Trump’s character marks him as one of the highest-ranking former officials from the Trump administration to publicly question the former president's suitability for office. Harris seized the opportunity to bolster her argument, citing Kelly’s words to underscore her point about Trump fitting the description of a "fascist."

By reinvigorating discussions around Trump’s controversial statements and actions, Harris aims to sway undecided voters, as well as some conservative-leaning individuals, as Election Day approaches. The Vice President's sharp critique insists that Trump's leadership poses a significant threat to democratic norms and stable governance.
